Tabakat-I Akbari [English]

This is one of the most celebrated histories of India and is the first that was composed upon a new model, in which India alone forms the subject matter of the work, to the exclusion of histories of other Asiatic countries. It has been translated and edited by Sir H. M. Elliot, Prof. John Dowson.
